$GIG Coin is the Gigyst Platform’s native currency, with freelance services being purchased using $GIG. However, it is much more than just a means of payment… $GIG Coin is a reflexive (or reflective) ERC-20 Token. This means that each time a user buys or sells the token, you make money! As a freelancer on our platform, not only are you paid for your services, but you earn by simply holding $GIG.

Rather than charging exorbitant fees (some platforms charge up to 20%) $GIG Coin is distributed only when bought and sold, meaning that on-platform there are no fees.

• 1% of every transaction is delivered directly into the Uniswap liquidity pool, this will enable a continuously liquid position for the $GIG Token.

• 2% of every transaction is equally and automatically distributed among $GIG holders. This encourages more and more users to hold, thus increasing the value of the token. A flywheel effect.

• 2% of every transaction is automatically sent to the Gigyst Foundation wallet. These funds are used for maintenance, development and marketing, as well as providing utility to CX Brand products such as Elftown.
